ABR Superimposed Waveform Analyser – Noise & Amplitude Tools

⚠️ Important: Please ensure all images are cropped gridline-to-gridline, top to bottom and side to side, zoomed to 200% in the PDF, and include only the two waveforms under review.

📊
SNR Residual Noise Estimation
Calculate noise levels and assess signal-to-noise ratio based on user-defined amplitude inputs
📈
Waveform Amplitude Estimation
Measure peak-to-peak amplitude (e.g., Wave V or III to SN10) to support response analysis and to correct drift
🔍
RA Residual Noise Estimation
Assess if residual noise between superimposed waveforms exceeds 25nV in superimposed traces
🎭
ABR Graphical Masking Calculator
Calculate appropriate masking levels for ABR testing with visual graphical interface

Purpose:

The primary aim of these tools is to help calibrate your judgment through benchmarking, both as a reviewer and as a tester, and to serve as a training resource. While these tools allow for greater accuracy, they are not principally designed for use in individual clinical cases or as decision-making tools for reviewers on a case-by-case basis.

As Dr Guy Lightfoot notes:
"I consider this a valuable tool, principally for tester & reviewer training / benchmarking purposes rather than for use in clinic or by reviewers in individual cases."
